VEC Fleet integrates with Detektor, the tracking and telematics provider with its own platform, founded in 1994 and present in nine Latin American countries. The integration brings each vehicle's position, odometer and speed into VEC Fleet, where they become maintenance plans, fuel transaction validation and cost per vehicle.

VEC Fleet pulls from the Detektor platform the date- and time-stamped position, accumulated odometer, speed and heading of each vehicle. It identifies each vehicle by license plate or device IMEI, so there is no need to replace or reinstall the devices you already have. Mileage updates automatically and maintenance is scheduled based on actual distance traveled.
